Welcome to Fitness Essentials!

 

We are a locally owned gym providing personal training and group exercise classes for all age groups and fitness levels. Our goal is to partner with you and provide individual, personalized support to change your life for the better. We are here to guide, encourage and help each client obtain the goals they seek for themselves. After a detailed consultation, a fitness program will be designed just for you, based on your strengths, limitations and personal goals. With your individualized program in place, we look forward to making fitness an essential part of your life.  We care about and think of our clients as friends and family, and therefore seek to provide a professional, fun, clean and comfortable gym environment. We are dedicated to the health and safety of our clients, by maintaining a clean facility and taking into account any injuries. We look forward to meeting you and seeing how together we can meet your goals.

SHELLEY CLARK

I have been in the fitness industry as a participant for over three decades. After being a stay at home mom with my two daughters for many years I made the decision to share my passion for fitness with others. I began by obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management with a concentration in Wellness and Fitness and then becoming a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. I maintain my certification by attending fitness conferences and staying up-to-date on industry happenings by reading professional publications as well as continually learning new modalities through classes and training seminars. I enjoy training clients of all ages and abilities. My objective is to help you determine, set and achieve your individual goals- whether it is building muscle, losing weight or just trying to live a healthier life. Your program design will be created specifically for you and your needs in mind.

I offer personal training, small group training, group classes, and monthly hikes.

KEVIN PROSCHOLD

My journey of becoming a personal trainer began at a very early age. I played every sport imaginable throughout childhood, and that created a passion and drive within me for the human body and fitness. I was granted a soccer scholarship as a Division II NCAA athlete which allowed me to pursue my dream of attending and graduating college with a degree in Kinesiology from California State University at Monterey Bay. The combination of my education and athletic history molded me into the personal trainer I am today. I offer personal training, small group training and TRX classes.  

During your fitness consultation we will develop a program based around one or more of your fitness goals, whether you want to gain strength, lose weight, increase your sports performance or recover from an injury. We will work together and strive for greatness every day!

DJ KELLY

I have been in the professional fitness industry since 2012. I am a performance coach holding numerous certifications through EXOS, National Academy of Sports Medicine, FMS and TRX. I became passionate about health and fitness from a young age having played competitive sports growing up. My mission is to use fitness to empower people to become the best version of themselves. I offer personal and group training sessions.
